Oracle Developer Team Lead
Job Description
Manage the development activities for Customizations, Interfaces, Data Migration, Reports, Output Documents and unit test
Provide detailed task planning, effort estimation and progress tracking to the ERP Associate Director for all development related activities and ensure the development team deliver to project plans.
Actively participate in risk management and change management on projects.
Direct and oversee both onshore and offshore developers ensuring the prescribed development best practice processes are followed, and all deliverables are completed to the required (high) quality.
Work with functional leads to ensure the technical solution are fit for purpose.
Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building.
Manage business expectations and ensure Key user satisfaction.
Provide hands on implementation and post implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM).
Skills
10+ years hands on Oracle E-Business experience or an equivalent ERP technology, 5 years in team lead or manager roles.
At least 2 project roles leading offshore development teams.
Proficient in following waterfall development methodologies and Oracle AIM/OUM documentation standards.
Expert knowledge of Oracle development tools, some e-Business application functionality, system administration, database structure, and knowledge of a multi-Org architecture.
Technical requirements: SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Script, Java, XML, JDeveloper, Oracle Reports/Forms, Oracle Workflow, Oracle BI Publisher, APEX, AME, ODI, OBIA, OBIEE, weblogic.
Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions.
Have led at least 2 technical migration projects.
Knowledge of EBS Oracle versions R12.
Some functional knowledge of core Oracle EBS Modules would be beneficial.
Knowledge of Fusion integration would be beneficial.
Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customizations.
Ability to multi-task and priorities across concurrent projects may be required.
