project is seeking for
“Junior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist”
– on full-time base employment as per the below job profile.
Job Profile
Qualifications and specialist knowledge
* University degree (preferably Masters) in political sciences, development studies, sociology, and other related social sciences.
* 1-2 years’ experience in relevant position
* Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Teams preferred.
* Very good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English. Knowledge in German language is an advantage.
* Preferably first professional experiences in a comparable position.
* Experience in analyzing large data sets and excellent excel skills is desirable
* Good skills in writing concise and explicit texts for various purposes is desirable + Knowledge about the role of Monitoring and Evaluation in development aid and/or humanitarian aid projects.
+ Knowledge about gender mainstreaming.
+ Knowledge about the role of international organizations and non-governmental organizations in the development and humanitarian aid in Jordan. * Dedication and self-motivation to perform the internship as a home office-based internship if necessary.
* Knowledge about the local administration in Jordan is desirable.
Core tasks
In your role you support all the tasks that arise in the thematic area of Project Monitoring & Evaluation as well as Cash for Work coordination. In consultation with your line manager, you are assigned individual tasks related to drawing up analysis reports and other project monitoring related tasks. You also respond promptly and competently to matters that fall within your assigned thematic area, where applicable in consultation with experienced specialists, and following consultation remain available to answer further enquiries. You make yourself available to answer enquiries related to issues that fall within your assigned thematic area, where applicable in consultation with experienced specialists. You clearly communicate the relevant requirements, conditions and restrictions in terms of your capacity to act with due regard for compliance rules and P+R. You deal with the matters and job orders assigned to you with due regard for all the legal, contractual, socio-political and corporate policy requirements and the instructions of your line manager and follow up the processing and completion of those tasks. Working with experienced specialists, you resolve problems that arise in your area of responsibility on the basis of existing rules and draw attention to more complex challenges in your team. In addition, you deal with all associated matters in your thematic area promptly and competently. You provide support for knowledge management and ongoing process development in your area of responsibility. You also prepare and share documentation. You perform the tasks assigned to you by your line manager, where required.

* Working on the Project`s various monitoring practices and the utilization of the monitoring tools.
* Developing additional monitoring tools and providing recommendations to enhance the collection and evaluation of information.
* Following up on the schedule of the CfW Team and supporting its organization.
* Maintaining and further developing CfW impact monitoring survey
* Assisting the project team in writing reports, proposals, and minutes
* Conducting research tasks and compiling information in English and Arabic
