Purpose:

The Scrum Master will be considered a subject-matter expert, have excellent logic and problem-solving skills with a drive to make a difference. The Scrum Master needs to put the team(s) before themselves and will be responsible for enforcing the rules of Scrum, removing impediments for their team(s) while promoting self-management and constantly improving our standards of work.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring Scrum is correctly applied and followed
• Guiding the team on the path of self-organization
• Shielding the team from external interferences and removing impediments
• Improving the velocity of the team
• Facilitating close collaboration between actors, removing barriers
• Organizing the ceremonies and inviting required people

Required Education

Entry-level Requirements

· Matric qualification

· Scrum certification

Required Work Experience

Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master

· Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures

· Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team

· Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics

· Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition

· Payment Gateway Experience advantage but not essential
