Rolling Stock Manager based in Neom
Job Description
We are looking for an outstanding candidate to be hired as a Rolling Stock Manager based in Neom,
Neom is Saudi Arabia's flagship business and tourism development on the Red Sea coast and a central project in the 2030 Vision outlining the kingdom's plans to diversify the economy.
To support the Engineering Manager to provide professional leadership for all technical aspects of the Rolling Stock works for the NEOM Project.
The role is to oversee the discipline execution within NEOM and provide the Client direction and input to the Contractor required for the delivery of the rolling stock works for multiple modes for HSR, Freight and Metro to the project quality requirements and within the discipline budget and schedule.
Main challenges of the job
Ensuring NEOM considerations are addressed in the contractor's design.
Supporting the achievement of rolling stock specification delivery, design assurance and acceptance with agreement from stakeholders in a timely way.
Management of multiple internal external interfaces
Supporting the successful delivery of the rolling stock with multiple modes of rail operation and infrastructure
Resolving technical issues during the delivery phase in a timely way to support the construction program.
Minimum Requirements
10 years experience of rolling stock projects.
Professional qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering or an associated discipline or equivalent experience.
Substantial experience in the design
Degree qualified engineer or equivalent experience
Required Gulf experience mandatory.
English proficiency required, Arabic is a plus
The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, often at a distance
Experience of living and working in the Middle East
