Job Summary/Purpose:

Manage fleet sales of Toyota vehicles to achieve set targets, optimize business growth and customer satisfaction to approved customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide input in preparation of the Fleet annual sales plans and budgets.
  2. Monitor actual sales performance against budgeted figures and take corrective measures as appropriate.
  3. Provide input and contribute to the production of the Fleet Sales annual marketing and sales strategy, such as pricing, stock levels, product mix, etc…
  4. Perform customer needs analyses and develop key account strategies.
  5. Develop a strong and long-term business relationship with key territory accounts by evaluating and understanding the customer's business and correlating it with the market.
  6. Advise on processes and analyze feedback which enhance strong relationships with Fleet customers and secure long term and repeat business.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective fleet customers.
  8. Visit customer locations, including Corporate Institutions, Government Offices, and Rent-A-Cars in order to maximize market penetration.
  9. Ensure customer-prospecting database is constantly updated and maintained.
  10. Attend to and resolve escalated customer complaints and represent the business unit in order to ensure the Toyota brand image is maintained and enhanced.
  11. Monitor changes in the market situation and legislative requirements, competition, customer feedback, report to management and recommend action to meet changing circumstances as required.
  12. Review data on competitor's activities, analyze market trends and make recommendations to enhance market share.
  13. Lead the processes on direct tenders and for sub-contractors in line with the approvals and authority matrix from Deputy General Manager, Fleet.
  14. Sign contract with customers and ensure delivery as per the scheduled date.
  15. Arrange special training on vehicles for the customer if needed.
  16. Ensure proactivity in identifying opportunities and agreeing unit sales within the Fleet, Car Rental, Hotel and Airport Market; Develop and utilize a database showing all relevant data including fleet size, brand mix, model mix, funding methods, change cycle and Key Account contacts details.
  17. Report periodically on the business performance to management, track business KPIs and budgets, review analysis of activities, costs, operations and sales and data forecasting to determine fleet sales progress toward stated goals and objectives, operations cost effectiveness, reduce waste, and take corrective measures as necessary.
  18. People Management:
  19. Assign goals and objectives to staff and monitor achievement of team objectives/key performance indicators (KPIs) and counsel employees on achievement of targets and KPIs.
  20. Prepare performance planning (PP), conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities.
  21. Make requisite attempts to handle all grievances raised by subordinates in a prompt and effective manner and escalate such matters to higher level when required.
  22. Recommend disciplinary action.
  23. Participate in interview panels for selection and promotion of staff.
  24. Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
  25. Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.
  26. Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
  27. Perform other duties as requested by management.
