Our client is a very well-known investment group operating in multiple fields, focusing on sectors such as Financial solutions, Tech and major infrastructure projects. They are looking to recruit a Bid Director to work out of their offices in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Provide strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of bid activities.

Providing oversight of bid implementation including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to bid management and administration, including reporting, budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, execution of bid plans, and bid performance.

Leading the delivery of work streams and projects using professional expertise and maintaining strong and effective relationships with Clients.

Leading a team of bid managers.

Formulating business plans.

Preparing outputs and outcomes in line with the brief for tasks.

Using tools to report complex written, financial, and analytical information to the Client.

Ensuring projects meet PPP quality standards, Client expectations and PPP financial targets.

Establishing a reputation with Clients and colleagues as a sort of expertise within a program area.

Contributing to the wider corporate success of PPP.

Spearheading growth into new markets.

Developing new and managing existing relationships with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Experience of negotiating PPP contracts, during procurement and operational phases, including the management and balance of a project’s legal, commercial, technical, finance and insurance issues to ensure procurement/contract management.
Experience of negotiating PPP contracts, during procurement and operational phases, including the management and balance of a project’s legal, commercial, technical, finance and insurance issues to ensure procurement/contract management.
Strong concessions, BOOT experience.
Strong commercial skills and a track record of operating in a commercial and PPP contracting environment.
A strong track record of structured bid management.
Negotiating and financial modeling on refinancing projects.
Extensive experience advising procuring authorities of contractual, commercial, and operational issues.
Experience in managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating multi-country projects.
