Jotun Algerie S.A.R.L., established in 2011, is one of the key markets within the MEIA region. With a sales office, warehouse and a rapidly growing team, we aim to further strengthen Jotun’s position in Algeria through ambitious market growth plans that focus on innovation, efficiency and profitability.
Improve the overall market position and competitiveness of assigned segment, concept, brand, product or solutions portfolio by building in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customer needs, requirements and the market situation, leading to achieve profitable growth and materialising innovations solving customer needs in accordance with segment and category strategies/budget.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Initiate and implement campaigns, launches, innovations or similar based on market analysis, competitor monitoring and customer insight within assigned area of responsibility
• Drive segment, category, brand, product or solution performance and leverage business potential through projects and processes in cooperation with other functions
• Ensure that the necessary marketing vehicles (products, systems and marketing material) are in place
• Generate marketing deliverables (insight, business case, key selling arguments and communication package)
• Drive the Category innovation strategy by identifying consumer insights and prepare Innovation concepts in cooperation with the Innovation Manager
• Responsible to grow category and brand with the support from region, local sales, technical, supply chain and customer network to achieve agreed financial results and market share.
• Develop and maintain local assortment and identify market needs, closely coordinate with different functions to increase market shares and profitability.
• Coordinate and assist in devising the strategies, plan, budget etc. in order to achieve the company’s objective and targets.
• Responsible for new product launches, implementations by working closely with local and regional marketing team in order to drive the success of new innovations.
• Develop and implement proper pricing and product management strategies by analysing market information and working closely with Sales team in order to increase in sales and market share in the responsible geographical area.
• Being able to match Jotun product portfolio to our target markets, identifying the gaps and deciding on corrective action or products needed, matching these needs with correct innovations.
