2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Manage execution of (major) capital projects through all phases as per the Ma'aden business and stage gate implementation model

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification:

1. Bachelors of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Lead Engineer
2. Masters of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Lead Engineer
3. PhD + 1,5 year as Lead Engineer

Experience:

4 – 10 years experience as Engineer (subject to qualification)
International experience preferred

Register project as per the enterprise project management (EPM) system
Responsible for the development, updating and implementation of project execution plans for all projects
Responsible for developing quality estimates and control base with quality cost control for all projects
Responsible for developing and managing of realistic schedule on projects
Ensure proper governance is in place and complied too on all projects, i.e. steering committees, gate reviews, decision review boards, Legal and Commercial requirements and audits
Meet risk management requirements on all projects
Ensure that all project meet safety requirements
Responsible for meeting cash flow targets on all projects
Ensure that all appropriate functions are timely allocated and represented on all projects
Ensure that quality front-end-loading is done on all projects
Handover and close-out of projects as per Ma'aden technology requirements
Ensures that self and team meet targets, due dates and quality standards
Consistently reduce all non-value-adding work
Consistently improve productivity
Ensure that the performance score card for projects is updated and results utilised for improvements
Responsible for gate reviews and decision review board are implemented on all projects
Ensure that all legal requirements on projects are implemented, i.e. safety appointments, competition requirements, etc.
Responsible for completeness and accuracy of the PPD and project reports
Effectively manage performance management system to ensure the development and promotion direct reports
Ensure SHE compliance of direct reports
Identify and management deviation from system, procedures and performance requirements enabling corrective actions to meet requirements
Develop annual work and project plans
Ensure that plans are executed and team objectives are achieved consistently in a safe work environment
Ensure timely results and compliance through control systems and measures
