The Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology at the German University in Cairo is pleased to offer Ph.D. fellowships in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Bioinformatics). The maximum duration of the fellowship is 3 years. Accepted candidates will work as teaching assistants and will contribute to teaching in the departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology or Pharmaceutical Biology and pursue his/her PhD in Bioinformatics major.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated GUC graduates with Master Degree in any Pharmacy specializations awarded before 2022 from the GUC or nationally/internationally recognized university.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent teaching, presentation and communication skills.
Previous experience in bioinformatics is an advantage.
Having publication from the Master project in international peer reviewed journal is a must.

Potential candidates called for interviews will be required to prepare a 20 min presentation consisting of a research proposal in the field of Bioinformatics. The presentation should cover the introduction, aim, experimental design, and references.
