Position: Accountant

Location: Amman, Jordan
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or a related field
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee daily financial operations, budget preparation, and financial forecasting.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including tax filing and reporting. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Auditing: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate regular audits.
Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and maintain an accurate ledger.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights, support budgeting, and participate in financial planning.
Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in accounting procedures and use accounting software to automate processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local financial regulations.
Proficient in accounting software.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
