Finance Specialist – FP&A Operations

Job Description Summary
Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Corporate, a business, or a P&L within a business. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
(i)Operational cash flow management in partnership with accountabilities and functional leaders and focused on the direct cash.
(ii)Billings ( Internal & External), Collections, Past Due.
(iii)Assist on Financials planning and analysis related to Free cash Flow.
(iv) Monitor & Reconciling bank activities.
Prepare business cycle- 3 year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization with collaboration of business leaders.
Liaison with collection organization (GE Treasury team) to ensure timely cash application & Funding Process.
Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed
Provide comprehensive financial support including sales and margin pacing, job profitability analysis and cash flow analysis in addition to Actuals Vs Estimation.
Responsible for providing reporting for Corporate and a business, or a P&L within a business Leaders.
Assist on Cost Out & productivity initiatives
Support In Balance sheet account reconciliations with compliance to GE processes & Kuwaiti Governance.
Work closely with Gas Power FP&A team on all Functional initiatives including simplification and synergies and productivity
Monitoring day to day Accounting activities and responsible for all FP&A adjustment (If Any).
Required Qualifications
– Bachelor's Degree Finance or Accounting discipline
– Fresh graduate to 2 years finance experience
– Creative and innovative problem-solving skills
– Self-motivated and high energy with strong ability to deliver results
– Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
– Solid communication and analysis skills
– Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
– Arabic Language is a Must.
Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • – SAP/PMX experience is a plus
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
