ECG Technologist
Ensure patient identification with Explanation to the patient about the procedure and ensure proper positioning and preparation for each and every examination and test protocol and Ensure patient safety before, during and after the procedure. 2 Obtain ECG for out-patient using single channel and/or multi-channel ECG recorders, routine or emergency 3 Apply ECG electrodes correctly for all exams and to insure optimal result for optimal interpretation. 4 Perform exercise stress test with confidant and monitor, recognize any abnormality with patient vital sign (BP, saturation, HR) during the whole exam and appropriately respond accordingly. 5 Recognize when to terminate the test (ST elevation or depression, VT, hypotension, ETC) and identify artifact and errors during the test. 6 Correctly set up holter or ABPM device for each patient and secure it optimally to acquire correct data then properly retrieve data, analyze it and prepare it to be reported. 7 Archive and verified all result acquired and ensure it is all correctly stored in the system and/or sent to medical record for archiving within the expected time. 8 Maintain good and positive behavior with patients and colleagues. 9 Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the whole room including all exams equipment (machines, electrode, printer, cables) hospital bed and other objects used for the procedure. 10 Daily Restock exams room with all needed equipment, and Report to the technologist or supervisor to order the stock items and materials needed 11 Ensure the validity of Basic Life Support provider certificate and effectively response to cardiac arrest
within the department and acquire all needed safety training regularly as per the hospital policy. 12 Prepare statistics, inventory report, or other quality assurance or departmental reports as needed. 13 Report to the supervisor any equipment or area malfunction for proper maintenance and repair. 14 Perform Electrocardiogram exams for all patients within the department others department and/or as portable procedures within the hospital as per the department policy. 15 Participate in different department activities and provide optimal training for new staff, technician and student/trainee. 16 Respond effectively and efficiently in emergency situations and perform on-call duties if necessary. 17 Comply with the standards laid down by the hospital and SFHP policies and procedures. 18 Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the Hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staffs or visitors at risk for injury or harm. 19 Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge skill and abilities.
Education and Licensure :
Bachelor Degree in Cardiovascular Education and Mandatory Technology, ultrasound technology, Licensure radiology science or related field.
Current professional licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Current valid certification of Basic Life Support or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment.
Mandatory :Fresh graduate
Preferred experience in the sam filed
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
Fluent in oral and written English
Fluent in oral and written Arabic is preferred
Excellent computer skills
Ability to prioritize scheduling of work
