What will you do in this position?
Under the supervision of the Head Pharmacist, the Programme Associate will assist in all tasks including the management of receiving, storage, order preparation and dispatch of health commodities of the WFP Health Supply Chain Project for health facilities in Liberia. The Project is funded by USAID.

How can you make a difference?
In this position, you will have to:
Serve as focal persons for the following programmes:
- RHP: Reproductive Health Programme
- NMCP: National Malaria Control Programme
- NTD: Neglected Tropical Diseases
- NCD: Non-communicable Diseases
- EHP: Essential Health Package
- MHP: Mental Health Programme
- LHP: Laboratory Health Programme
- Verify delivery authorizations from the respective programs.
- Verify packing lists generated by the system.
- Supervise the preparation of orders up to the packaging of the products: the report of all anomalies or modifications of quantities must be reported to the pharmacists.
- In collaboration with the Warehouse Logistics Officer and the warehouse team, receive international orders and deliveries, identify, and report possible discrepancies between manifests or delivery slips.
- Participate in regular inventories.
- Ensure proper storage and management of all program items under their responsibility.
- Monitor program stock levels against alarm thresholds, stock-outs, and nearly expired items (e.g., in six months). Prepare reports and forward them to the Pharmacists.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Education: Completion of secondary or high school education.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Warehouse management, of which two years in a similar position (medical product management) are required.
- NGO experience in developing countries is desirable.
- A medical background related to the 10 programs would be an asset.
- Ability to plan, coordinate and manage several activities simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (word, excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proven skills in medical logistics.
- Knowledge of WFP warehouse management procedures and good database skills would be an asset.
- Has experience in budget monitoring and reporting.
Language: Fluency (level C) in English language.
