Manager External Affairs

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute external relations strategy aligned with the company’s business and communications objectives.
- Manage the implementation of the long-term regulatory/fiscal affairs plan consistent with the Company's goals and objectives.
- Guide and maintain relations with stakeholders to ensure support to the Company's positions on relevant topics.
- Manage and coordinate outside consultants to ensure support to the companies action plans.
- Manage and coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility plans.
- Budget, reporting and controlling: Direct the preparation, secure the approval, and control the implementation of the budget for the department.
- Monitor global and local regulatory evolution to provide insights and guidance to senior management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, public relations, corporate communication or relevant degree.
- 7-10 years of overall experience in government, or business associations with global orientation and/or international experience with proven records in Communications, Public Relations, Public and/or Corporate Affairs.
- Specific Experience: Proven records in a position with the government/business association/large national or multinational FMCG company working in corporate affairs or similar function.
- Experience in Regulatory/fiscal Relations is desirable.
- Be able to work cross-functionally and build relationships inside and outside of the organization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills using various tools to deliver messages.
- Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
- Language skills: English & Arabic– Fluent.
