What will you do in this position?
Under the supervision of the Logistics Officer, the Tally Clerk will be responsible for the warehousing of products and preparation of orders.

How can you make a difference?
In this position, you will have to:
- Warehousing of products and preparation of orders
- Participate in the receipt/dispatch, verification, and storage of products in the warehouse(s) following the WFP-established guidelines and standards.
- Ensure storage capacity when receiving international orders.
- Prepare the storage space.
- Implement and maintain accurate stacking and adequate handling of products during unloading, checking, and storage to avoid damage to products
Participate in the preparation of product orders in the warehouse(s)
- Ensure that the products are checked during preparation (FEFO/FIFO recommendations, respect to batch) per the packing list.
- Ensure the correct handling of the products during preparation, packaging, and transfer of the packages to avoid damaging them.
- Report any anomaly to the warehouse manager, who will follow up.
Participate at the request of the Warehouse Manager or the storekeepers in the inventory and organization of the stock
- To check the order of the various items in stock.
- Checking the presence and completion of stock cards for each batch of product received at the warehouse.
- Respect the stock control procedures.
- Take inventory after each movement of a batch of products and conduct periodic physical inventory checks following established guidelines and standards.
- Participate in stock reconciliation with the mSUPPLY and Pharmacy teams.
- Participation in deliveries (At the request of the project management)
- Ensure the preparation of orders for the various health facilities in Liberia.
- Ensuring the necessary documentation (packing list and waybill) to take the packages out of the warehouses.
- Checking the conformity of orders with the documentation before they leave the warehouses.
- Ensure effective handling of products during dispatch, preventing any damage.
- Supervising the handling team during parcel loading operations.
- Ensuring compliance with delivery SOPs in cases where they may be called explicitly upon to make deliveries in regions.
- Documentation
- Update the management tools (batch sheet, daily stock report, parcel transfer register, etc.) for each stock movement in the warehouses.
- Update the documents relating to each delivery (waybill, checklist, packing list, etc.).
- Ensure proper storage/archiving of documents.
- Cleanliness and maintenance of equipment
- Ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse inside and outside.
- Supervise the warehouse cleaning after loading/unloading and reconstitution exercises in the warehouse.
- Ensure maintenance of warehouse equipment in good working order.
- Ensure that fire-fighting equipment is in place and working order.
- Be able to use fire extinguishing equipment.
- Supervision and Management
- Supervise the daily laborers' work and provide on-the-job training to improve their knowledge and capacity.
- Immediately report any deviation to his/her superior.
- Carry out the tasks of the Storekeeper in his/her absence.

Education: Completion of secondary or high school education.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position (Tallying or Basic Logistics).
- Must be organized and able to work in a team.
Language: Fluency (level C) in English language.
