Phlebotomist

• Collect blood specimens strict adherence to laboratory policies and procedures from patients of all ages and sex, including proper identification the patient and proper labeling of the sample drawn.
• Screen blood include checking temperature and blood pressure, Hb estimation, etc.
• Perform blood collection and processing of donor blood.
• Response and compassionate the needs the patients and their companions.
• Assess patients and adverse reactions to blood collection and perform immediate intervention accordance with policies and procedures
• Comply with the standard laid down by the Approved Accreditation Standards and SFHP's Policy and procedures.
• Through the chain command and or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation the Hospital or standard service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staffs or visitors at risk other harm.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
