Environmental Health Specialist

Job summary/Environmental Health Specialist:

The Environmental Health Specialist will conduct inspections of assigned facilities and settings to ensure applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations are being met.

Requirements:

Education and Licensure :

Mandatory:

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Health or equivalent.
• Valid professional license to practice the specialty from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Current valid certification of Basic Life Support or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment.

Preferred:

None.

Professional Experience:

Mandatory:

Fresh graduates.

Preferred:

Previous experience in related field in similar environment.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Expected to make some operational decisions and to provide guidance, advice to support staff on work related matters.
• Expected to work with minimum supervision, reporting to line manager when required.
• Expected to use critical-thinking skills to reach objectives conclusions.
