Expert Community Manager

Location – Global role

A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy is bringing its expert program to the next level and is therefore launching a new expert community. As the Siemens Energy Expert Manager (f/m/d) you are responsible for steering and driving the community of all experts in the company. In this role you will prepare decisions for technology landscape adjustments and will fulfill its implementation. This includes accompanying the selection process and ensuring its guardrails and key performance indicators. Planning and coordinating the community and its activities will enhance the visibility of our experts internally and externally. Additionally, you will take care of supporting our setup of nine corporate technology fields (e. g. additive manufacturing, plant automation, power electronics). Your counterparts will be the technology field leads and their communities.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Overall responsibility for the Siemens Energy expert community
Supporting the transformation journey of Siemens Energy by adjusting and delivering an expert landscape which fulfills existing and future business needs
Preparing decisions for technology landscape adjustments
Preparing CTO reviews for our corporate technology fields jointly with our technology field leads
Ensuring implementation and adherence to guardrails and practices
Enhancing visibility internally & externally
Planning and coordination of a program and its activities
Manage communications through media relations, Yammer etc.
Schedule and organize meetings/events as necessary
Support growth and program development
Ensure proper selection process
Communication and training to managers

What You Bring

Master’s degree in Engineering or other comparable degree
Minimum five years’ experience working within in the energy market and understanding its multi-disciplinary contexts as well as its product lines
Excellent and highly self-motivated team player to support and serve the global team
Proactive and solution oriented. Ability to pull inputs, to influence and to interact with interface partners of any level in the organization.
Additionally, you convince with experience in working on international and interdisciplinary projects, experience in project management is pre-requisite.
You are willing to work in a global, flexible team with focus on topics and not hierarchies and you are a self-starter with strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills as well as the ability to create and work in networks
As you act in an international environment, you have excellent writing and communication skills in English, knowledge of German is beneficial
