Cost Control Specialist: Accruals and Cash Flow

They are currently looking for a Cost Control Specialist (Accrual) to be based in Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure no service entry sheets (SES) are booked beyond cut-off date for accrual estimation.
- Review and validate percentage of completion from available documentation (PO, SES, GRN, etc.)
- Ensure all Purchase Orders (PO) have a corresponding accrual booked in the system.
- Ensure all accruals have a corresponding approved PO, WO / SO in system.
- Review and validate month end accruals based on percentage of completion.
- Monitor Accruals ageing report monthly and take necessary corrective actions for aged accruals.
- Ensure that complete accruals are auto reversed at the start of the month.
- Review mapping of Internal Order (IO) codes to PO, WO/SO.
- Monthly monitoring of cash flow forecast against approved cash flow plan.
- Review, inquire and validate deviation from cash flow plan.
- Review the adjusted cash flow forecast, if any and validate the reasons for adjustments.
- Compare forecasted cash flow with actual cash position on monthly basis and analyze unplanned cash outflow, if any.
- Analyze, measure, monitor and report foreign currency exposure.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance from a recognized university is preferable
- About 5 years of related experience of which a minimum of 3 years should be in a similar position/ responsibility, preferably in the government / public sector.
- Extensive knowledge of costing, accounting, business operations and treasury (experience in these areas preferred)
- Working knowledge of project management systems such as SAP, Oracle, S4HANA.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
