About the Role:

The People Service Centre Specialist (PSC) role is a great way to learn about HR systems (Workday), data, and processes by supporting Human Resources function within Wiley. The PSC supports our employees across a variety of HR-related services including responding to customers’ questions and needs, advising on HR policies and practices and executing transactions which support the customer requests. Additional responsibilities include administration, regular communication, research, problem solving, and auditing of systems information. The PSC Specialist is also responsible for creating a positive, end-to-end candidate experience from offer acceptance to day 1.

How you will make an impact:

  • Effectively review and process HR service requests and transactions with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Candidate should have expertise to manage employee life cycle in Workday (or equivalent).
  • Assist employees and managers with Workday HRIS tool on transactions.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely data changes.
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance with company rules, standards, and data integrity for employment-related HR transactions. Initiates efforts and procedures to maintain data integrity, troubleshoot and recommend solutions.
  • Works on special projects as a team member representing the PSC function. Participates in business requirement gathering, business process review, testing, documentation, and communication.
  • Plan, research and analyze designs and maintain information systems in support of human resource administration and projects.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to lead projects to increase business efficiency and streamline business processes through optimization of Workday platform.
  • Continuously review and evaluate current processes and identify areas of improvements across the globe.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the onboarding process including new hire information, completing pre-employment screening items and internal new hire documentation. Ensuring internal systems correctly updated and maintained.
  • Partner with members of the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures, as well as local laws related to onboarding, hiring and colleague support.

What we look for:

  • Proven track record HR service centre experience.
  • Knowledge of Workday experience or equivalent HRIS.
  • Ability to be present 2-3 days per week in the office to support interactions with colleagues, customers, and Regional People Partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
