Courier – Jordanian Only (23004PB)

Jordan-Amman-Amman | Full-time | Permanent | Standard

JOB PURPOSE Collect and deliver a variety of customer shipments within a given territory and time frame. Provide customers assistance and accurate information on their shipments and carry goods from them with appropriate and complete paperwork..
1. Accountabilities
Collection and Delivery Pickup and delivery deliver shipments safely and within the standard time frame. Prior with courier / collection all shipments must checked physically to ensure required paperwork’s avail and shipments in condition to travel in transit / deliver to customer
Reporting / Documentation Prepare Debrief report at end of each working day. Complete all required paperwork for all collected shipments.
Quality of Service Maintain and adhere all company standards related to personal appearance, vehicle cleanliness and paperwork prepared for customer shipments. Professional behavior and attitude attending customers.
Security Ensure security of shipments, collected cash and company vehicle. Ensure to use padlock on vehicles at all times to secure customer shipments and company asset.
Sales and Customer Service Deliver on time monthly invoices. Act as a messenger between customer and credit controllers in relaying customers queries in regards to billing and selling value added service ex. insurance on outbound shipments
SPORH & SPR Ensure target for SPORH (Stop per route on road hour / SPR (stops per route ) maintained by individual courier, along with other Pick up /delivery Key perfromance indicators .

Education§ High Diploma / BA recommended education.h) Knowledge, Skills, and Experience§ Prior experience in a service industry preferable§ Good command of English§ Basic knowledge of vehicles and its associated operating techniques (Manual Driving Licence).§ Basic Computer literacy skills.§ Adheres to company policies and procedures

Job PurposeTo process accounting Tasks as per below accountabilities
Principal Accountabilitiesa) Receive and log all incoming local supplier invoices and make sure it is reflected to system (PtP process) b) Organize payment run and seek approval to make timely payments.c) Create Vendors accounts as per DHL policy and requirement.d) Prepare B/S accounts reconciliation and to ensure that all balance sheet accounts, sub ledger accounts and interface reconciliations are kept up to date.e) Reconciling customs duties and liabilities to vendors.f) Coordination of appointments for closing and reporting tasks internally (within the Shared Service Center).g) Providing support for internal and external audits.h) Reconciling Bank accounts.i) AR accounting ( part of OTC )j) Other tasks that the CFO requests.
