Job Description:

As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the civil engineering aspects of the project. Your role will involve coordinating with different stakeholders, ensuring the project's compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality results within the defined scope, budget, and timeline. Your expertise will help the successful completion of the project while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive civil engineering plans for the project.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and environmental impact assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil engineering components.
• Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets for civil engineering activities.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure the timely and efficient execution of civil engineering tasks.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective measures to mitigate delays or budget overruns.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction standards.
• Liaise with the client, government authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide technical expertise and resolve any civil engineering-related issues.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits, clearances, and certifications.
• Facilitate effective communication among different project teams, ensuring the smooth flow of information and timely decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, standards, and emerging technologies related to civil engineering in projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality and safety.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and presentations to communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Maintained accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and other relevant documents.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of extensive experience in civil engineering is essential, with a focus on FIT OUT projects (MARBEL, STONE, GRANITE, CERAMIC). Ideally, candidates should have several years of experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, including FIT OUT (MARBEL, STONE, GRANITE, CERAMIC) construction or expansion projects.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices related to FIT OUT (MARBEL, STONE, GRANITE, CERAMIC) are crucial.
• Demonstrated experience in project management is vital for a site engineer in the role. You should have a solid understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Experience in coordinating and managing multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
• Knowledge of relevant local and international regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to FIT OUT (MARBEL, STONE, GRANITE, CERAMIC) construction and civil engineering is necessary. Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and permitting processes is also important.
• Familiarity with design software ( SAP – SOILD WORKS ), Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration and coordination with project teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Leadership abilities, including the capacity to mentor junior engineers and resolve conflicts, are also valuable.
