In this role you will be a key member of the STE team, supporting and managing a range of areas:

The STE function are the architects, custodians and executors of DME Consulting’s strategy. The team is responsible for coordinating with and bringing together multiple programs of the company. Additionally, it helps to plan, track investments, Analyse, and plan resources, while keeping the larger picture of DME’s aspirations in mind. A senior consultant will be involved in the identification of strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability. Therefore, the candidate must have a sharp business acumen and advanced analytical skills. The duties include:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the firm’s overall strategic direction
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation while being cognizant of industry trends, emerging technologies or projects, and competitive dynamics. Thoroughly analyzing industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential risks. Gathering information to make data-driven arguments to improve business performance.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence to assess risks and benefits of strategic initiatives.
  • Build business case for new strategic initiatives
  • Monitor the performance of workstreams Identify areas of improvement, developing strategies to enable optimal operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organization to gain buy-in and support for strategic initiatives. Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders
  • Manage cross-functional projects, coordinate resources, set timelines, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of results.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, management, or any other related field.
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in professional services or large organization.
  • Proficiency in Office Systems skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders in a matrix and multi-cultural organization.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong assessment and visualization skills to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Program planning and management ability with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Understands the local nuances of the Middle East culture and people.
  • Bi-lingual skills
