JOB PURPOSE

This position provides support for the planning, coordinating, and overseeing monitoring functions for tracking efficiency and effectiveness of the CSP programme implementation and to manage grievance support for programme activities in the CO. The position will support process and output monitoring to regularly determine programme efficiency and support programmatic decisions. This is based on the regular collection of programme implementation data and related reports on the implementation progress and programming efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

1. Contribute towards grievance mechanism for WFP direct implementation programmes based on the needs and priorities of the programme ensuring alignment with wider programme policies and guidance.
2. Provide process monitoring support to the entire CSP programmes, ensuring systematic planning of process monitoring for respective programmes and timely reporting on process monitoring findings and coverage.
3. Follow data gathering and monitoring systems ensuring that rigorous quality standards are maintained.
4. Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely reporting and visualization (e.g dashboard) of process monitoring findings to enable informed decision making and consistency of information presented to stakeholders.
5. Liaise with internal stakeholders to set up a system, tools and related support to programme units and field offices to ensure regular reporting of progress on programme implementation by WFP and CPs
6. Support and build capacity of sub-office staff for gathering, assembling and organizing process monitoring data, reporting on monitoring findings and corrective actions.
7. Support planning, monitoring and coordination for operationalization of WFP Complain and Feedback Mechanism (CFM) to facilitate Beneficiary Grievance and inter-agency referral system
8. Provide supervision and support to WFP Call Centre Staffs/Team.
9. Other as required.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/ Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience with 3 years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.

LANGUAGE: Fluency in spoken and written English and Bangla is required; Knowledge of Rohingya dialect is an added advantage.

OTHER SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Support and coordinate ACR data (Output/Cross-cutting) collection, data entry and RBB/HQ validation.
  • Support development and periodical adjustment of monitoring tools including checklists and questionnaires, reporting tools, guidelines for process incl output monitoring of the different programme activities
  • Prepare and dissemination of CFM monthly, quarterly & annual reports and Quaterly activity report by Activity managers.
  • Support to conduct/organized M&E events/ CO Assessment & Evaluation.
