Role Summary

The Human Capital Business Partner is responsible for managing and driving Human Capital related activities such as employee experience and relations compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues, organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management and development, total rewards for all MAF Retail employees in Jordan. The role holder is also responsible for working with functional leaders, teams, managers, and key stakeholders to manage, enhance and execute people experience initiatives

ROLE PROFILE

  • Identify and undertake all aspects of program management related to workforce diversity, inclusion and staff engagement
  • Evaluate the success of employee engagement/experience projects and initiatives and provide recommendations on how to enhance relevant activities
  • Collaborate with the human capital department and other relevant departments to ensure that internal communications and messages are relevant, consistent, reliable and timely for all identified internal audiences
  • Develop and implement human capital strategies for the assigned country in line with overall business strategy and business direction, with a focus on attracting, retaining and developing talent
  • Work with various human capital functions drive and deliver key human capital initiatives such as performance management and talent reviews, succession planning, talent development, total rewards, employee relations and employee experience
  • Collaborate with functional leaders on organization design and planning initiatives such as developing organizational structures, operating models, and manpower planning
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and lead end-to-end recruitment to attract talent for the assigned business unit
  • Ensure implementation of the talent management processes and frameworks containing best practice elements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or human capital management
  • Professional hr certification such as CIPR, SHRM, AHARI is preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in a human capital department with focus on employee engagement strategies & activities
  • 3-4 years in retail is preferred
  • Fluent English is a must
