Shipping and Logistics Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Managing matters related to shipping and transportation, including planning and following up the delivery process, completing the necessary documents, writing contracts and invoices, investigating and following up on logistical problems, in addition to communicating and coordinating with various authorities related to logistics operations to ensure their optimal completion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow up the process of delivery and disbursement of ready-made goods, whether for the local market or for export, by communicating with the company's logistics service providers, as well as coordinating with the local and international sales departments to ensure that the process proceeds appropriately and on time.
• Ensure the completion of the necessary documents related to the progress of the shipping and transportation process, whether local or international, which includes export licenses, certificates of origin and other documents to ensure that the process complies with internal and external standards and procedures.
• Writing contracts and invoices related to shipping and transportation and ensuring their validity to ensure their compliance with the laws and regulations set.
• Communicate and coordinate with importers of Al-Kasih goods, and follow up shipments until they arrive, in addition to trying to meet customers' requirements for shipping to ensure that the process proceeds appropriately.
• Coordinate and cooperate continuously with the sales and warehouse departments to ensure the correct delivery of information related to logistics operations, which includes warehouse capacity, the number of goods ready for shipment, and others.
• Search for companies providing appropriate logistics services and participate in negotiation processes with supply chain management in line with the company's policies set, to obtain the level of service required related to shipping and transportation, and at the best possible prices.
• Investigate and follow up with the concerned authorities regarding recovered, lost, damaged or delayed shipments, in addition to preparing reports thereon and submitting them to the line manager.
• Contribute to the development of shipping and transportation policies in the company and determine the most cost-effective procedures and duration of transportation in line with the relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide periodic reports related to shipping operations and logistical support and submit them to the line manager to ensure that operations comply with the company's specified policies and procedures.
• Perform any other related tasks and responsibilities assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or related field.
• (3-5)Years of experience in a related field
