What will you do in this position?

Under the supervision of the Head of the Health Supply Chain and in close collaboration with the Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant- will play a key role during the implementation of the WFP Health Supply Chain Project, and will be the Talent acquisition/ Recruitment focal point for all recruitments under the project. The project is funded by USAID.

How can you make a difference?

In this position, you will have to:

  • Provide administrative support in various HR activities involved during the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members for the USAID funded project in accordance with WFP Policies and Procedures.
  • Identify and handle all recruitments (local & international) for Health Supply Chain Project.
  • Handle full cycle recruitment of the project including appointment of newly recruited staff in the system/ WINGS, ensuring adherence to standard WFP policies and processes.
  • Draft various HR documents required for various specific areas of work (employment contracts, offer letters, etc).
  • Ensure that Talent Acquisition data related to his/her recruitment is constantly updated, both in E-recruitment and in WFP Liberia CO local recruitment tracker.
  • Contribute to improvements in talent attraction and recruitment approaches, especially to attract qualified female candidates for local positions.
  • Provide support to the Country HR Team on general HR matters.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related functional area is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, preferably Talent acquisition, payroll administration, and HR data/ records management.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System, Technology, and Sourcing tools.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritize multiple stakeholders' requests.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and adapt communication styles to different situations and individuals.
  • Ability to quickly build credibility with internal stakeholders.

Language: Fluency (level C) in English language.
