Sharif Eye Centers is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to fill the position of Senior Accountant at our center in Amman. We are seeking someone who can ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records and provide valuable financial insights.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
– Recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions to maintain the integrity of accounting information.
– Compiling and analyzing account information to prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
– Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions to maintain and balance subsidiary accounts.
– Transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries to maintain the general ledger.
– Collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements to summarize the financial status.
– Initiating computer processing, printing checks, and verifying finished products to produce payroll.
– Analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors to complete external audits.
– Complying with legal requirements to avoid legal challenges.
– Completing database backups to secure financial information.
Requirements for the role include:
– Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
– 5-10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
