Customer strategy & planning Assistant Manager
Job Main Job Purpose
CSP is responsible for leading the development and execution of channel strategies that drive profitable growth for Unilever’s brands. The role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. The CSP works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to create and implement plans that optimize sales and profitability across all channels.
Job Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a high bias for action, process oriented, open to new ideas and approaches, willingness to work with different department and attention to details.
- Develop and execute channel strategies that drive profitable growth for Unilever’s brands
- Conduct research and analysis on customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform channel strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to develop channel-specific plans that optimize sales and profitability.
- Provide regular updates on channel and Category performance and insights to leadership team.
- Work with internal teams to ensure the successful launch of new products and initiatives across all channels.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute channel-specific projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse channel data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Good understanding of Unilever KPIs’ accurately and analytical bent to mind
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in channel development, sales, or marketing
- Experience in the FMCG industry is preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with customers and partners
- Strong Communication & Presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, problem solving
- High drive for simplification and continuous improvement
- Strong time management skills and ability to priorities multiple tasks to meet established deadlines
- Team-player and proactive
- Strong ethical standards regarding the handling of confidential personal and business information
