Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for wastewater treatment plant construction. Responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain project schedules using planning software.

2. Align project goals, objectives, and deliverables with schedules.

3. Analyze project scope, activities, and resources for risks and opportunities.

4. Prepare progress reports, critical path analysis, and earned value analysis.

5. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

6. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.

7. Provide expert advice on resource allocation and activity sequencing.

8. Ensure compliance with FIDIC contracts throughout the project.

9. Participate in project meetings and site visits to provide updates.

10. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in planning.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

2. Proven experience in wastewater treatment plant construction.

3. Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

4. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and guidelines.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

8. Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and reporting.

9. Knowledge of construction methods and materials is advantageous.

10. Professional certifications (PMP, PSP) are desirable.
