Travel Advisor

Travel Advisor at Nourbelle Tours, your primary responsibility is to assist clients in planning and organizing their travel experiences. You will be the main point of contact for customers, providing expert advice, arranging itineraries, making bookings, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout their journey. Success in this position involves delivering tailored travel solutions, exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to the overall growth and reputation of Nourbelle Tours.

Responsibilities:

  • Consultation and Itinerary Planning: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budgetary requirements. Utilize your knowledge of destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and attractions to create customized itineraries that align with clients' needs.
  • Booking Management: Make reservations for flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel-related services. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible rates and availability for clients. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing bookings.
  • Travel Documentation: Provide guidance on visa requirements, travel insurance, health and safety precautions, and other necessary documentation. Assist clients in obtaining and organizing relevant travel documents, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Destination Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with travel trends, emerging destinations, and local attractions. Provide clients with comprehensive information about their chosen destinations, including cultural insights, sightseeing recommendations, dining options, and local customs.
  • Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing any concerns throughout the travel experience. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing support before, during, and after their trips.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Actively promote and upsell additional travel products and services, such as travel insurance, guided tours, and exclusive experiences. Contribute to achieving sales targets and maximizing revenue for Nourbelle Tours.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language, with exceptional communication skills both in verbal and written forms. Ability to articulate travel information, provide recommendations, and engage effectively with clients.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the travel industry. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and build strong client relationships.
  • Destination Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of popular travel destinations, including cultural attractions, landmarks, transportation options, and local customs. A passion for exploring new places and staying informed about the latest travel trends.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in itinerary planning, booking management, and documentation.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using travel reservation systems, online booking platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software used in the travel industry.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate client needs. Adaptability to handle unforeseen circumstances, such as flight cancellations or changes in travel plans, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
