A UX/UI Lead manages the UX design team, consulting with designers, developers, software engineers, and the marketing department. As a UX/UI Lead, you develop product goals, staff a project team, and oversee the implementation of a project. You work with testers and the quality assurance department as well as creating tests for your products. These tests determine how users or customers feel about the designs and, with feedback, you work to tweak them accordingly.

To be successful in this position, you need to have a variety of qualifications, including career experience and job skills. A bachelor’s degree in a creative subject such as graphic design, or a technical subject such as computer science, is necessary. You must also have several years of experience working in UX or UI. You should be familiar with how to implement designs across platforms, including mobile devices, tablets, and laptops. Strong leadership and management qualities, as well as written and verbal communication skills are also important for the position

Responsibilities

Own overall end-to-end user experience across the entire product— from the big picture down to specifics of feature or service flows.
Help define product requirements by collaborative brainstorming and high-level prototyping with partner teams.
Work with the Visual Design department to develop and maintain signature aesthetics, standards and brand integrity.
Delivering an inspirational design vision for the products, aligned to overall company strategy and translating that vision into actionable investment priorities.
Identifying and driving opportunities to align design and user experiences across all of our platforms and products.
Together with the Development Teams develop and implement a scalable and flexible UI implementation and customization methodology
Work with testers and the quality assurance to ensure best quality of the product
