Business Development and Accounts Lead
Responsibilities
- Multimillion USD pipeline generation and closure.
- Business Planning – Develop and deliver comprehensive sales plans to address business priorities.
- Produce and communicate an accurate periodic forecast while maintaining the sales pipeline.
- Review and provide reports on public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect.
- Actively understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy landscape.
- Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.
- Work closely with the Operations/delivery team and ensure the delivery of the projects.
- Prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within client organizations.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate or Graduate in IT, Marketing, Business Management or similar field.
- 8+ years of overall experience in the IT Sector in client facing roles for both IT Consulting and IT Implementation businesses.
- 5+ years of successful business development and account management experience in the IT sector for clients in the Middle East.
- Demonstrated success with key/strategic accounts, large deals, and complex sales cycles in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.
- Deep understanding of the IT services market in the Middle East with a strong network of connections in at least 2-3 countries such as the UAE, KSA and Jordan.
- Experience in working on advanced, integrated, professional services engagements model working across multiple lines of business for both Scope based project engagement & Team augmentation services.
- Fully aware of technology trends, industry standards, and terminology specifically in Digital Transformation, Automation, Data & Cloud technologies.
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Retail & eCommerce, and Digital government solutions is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Looking for a self-driven individual, willing to take personal ownership of the role at a individual level.
