NOC Officer
Job Description and Requirements
Job Description:
The NOC support officer is required to assist in troubleshooting and provide support with our telecommunications network/system in coordination with management and underlying technology used in day to day operations. They will also monitor of service availability across the infrastructure and provide suitable reporting. Candidate should be someone who enjoys work, and is willing to work as hard as possible to continually exceed the expectations of our mission-critical clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a multi customer NOC environment with our 24/7 coverage
- Use ticketing and monitoring systems
- Technical support areas include: networking, routing
- Interface with customers on a regular basis
- Respond to alerts and action or escalate as required
- Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot, repair, or replace routing
- Ability to work a rotating shift over six days including night shifts
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or any related field.
- Process oriented
- Excellent communications skills in English language
- Bright, energetic and proactive
- Disciplined, organized, meticulous and thorough
- Team player, committed to overall company results
- Accurate data entry
- High level, demonstrable computer skills are a must
