IT Helpdesk Officer
IT Helpdesk Officer
- Implement IT goals, policies, procedures and use regulations.
- Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made and communicate feedback to direct supervisor.
- Assist the IT Admin in configuring Microsoft Servers.
- Install computer programs and systems for new employees and perform minor repairs and troubleshooting to hardware, software, or equipment if needed.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities and configure email applications or virus protection software.
- Assist in Training staff in the proper use of hardware protection and software application and provide technical assistance when needed.
- Assist in the implementation of hardware/software projects with IT service providers and supervise maintenance contracts.
- Generate timely and accurate reports to the direct manager if needed.
- Read technical manuals and confer with staff and management to establish requirements for new systems in order to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Provide all staff with technical assistance in solving technical problems.
- Develop request for services to request software or hardware for staff and assist on evaluating vendor quotation/proposals and accordingly select required vendors.
- Document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
- Provide technical and IT related assistance in all events
- EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System or any relevant field.
- SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good knowledge in organizing events and conferences
- Ability to implement work tasks accurately, quickly, and confidentially.
- Able to tolerate pressure.
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Operating systems and MAC operating systems.
- Good English and Arabic languages, written and spoken.

- Office 365 portal admin
- Windows Server 2008-2012-2016
- Active Directory configuration
- Sage CRM
- SQL database basics
