Information Technology Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Writing, Reviewing and Executing Computer System Validation documentation according to FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EMA, GAMP5 (Validation Plan, IQ, OQ, PQ, risk assessment, summary report. etc.).
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience in installation, configuration, and administration of:
- System Admin Windows Server 2016 and 2019. (Active Directory, failover cluster, etc.)
- Microsoft Office 365.
- Veeam Backup Solution.
- Firewall and Antivirus.
- Virtualization
- NAS storage
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting the systems and networking (software, hardware)
- Good knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EMA, GAMP5, and related regulations and guidelines related to the Pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry and industry best practices.
- Good knowledge of Computer System Validation or any validation experience required.
- Experience writing, reviewing and executing computer validation documentation (Validation Plan, IQ, OQ, PQ, Risk Assessment, Summary Report. etc.)
- Software Validation experience with enterprise computer systems (ERP, LIMS, etc.) within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Clinical Application Configuration, Build, Testing, and Management.
- Creating, documenting, and executing SOP's (standard operation procedure).
- Experience with information security and management systems, and compliance standards.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or information systems, or related field
It will be considered a plus if the applicant can prove experience working in a clinical or healthcare environment.
