Job Description

JOB TITLE: Senior Angular Developer

RESPONSIBLE TO: Software Architect

MAIN LOCATION: Amman, Jordan

Objective:

We are looking for a Senior Angular Developer with a keen eye for detail and precision within design. You will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimising web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all websites and apps, among other duties.

As a Front End Developer, you will work very closely with back end teams as well as UX/UI designers, to deliver consistent and reliable web experience.

Responsibilities:

Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
Maintain brand consistency throughout the design
Determine the structure and design of user interfaces
Develop features to enhance user experience
Work with back end developers to integrate UI/UX components with APIs and databases
Optimise web pages for maximum speed and scalability
Strike balance between functional and aesthetic designs
Perform routine performance optimizations
Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
Lead a team of frond end developers to fast deliver quality, highly functional and highly efficient products

Additional Requirements:

In addition to the responsibilities listed above the post holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the CIO from time-to-time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
To participate in the annual performance appraisal process and objective scheme.
To work in accordance with all APG policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental.
To adhere to company wide information security policies, as outlined and agreed within the first month of employment.
It’s important during the employment with APG and anytime thereafter that any information relating to APG is treated with the strictest confidentiality.

Skills

Degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience with Angular2+
Understanding of key design principles.
Deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Good hands-on experience with TypeScript, RxJs, NgRx
Experience with jQuery, jQueryUI, TypeScript
Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats
Understanding of server-side CSS.
Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and web design
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Understanding of SEO principles.
Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing
Excellent verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Have worked in similar environment and industry
Understanding of data mapping, systems engineering and reengineering
Have worked with agile cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes through systems transformation
