Location: 2 vacancies in Irbid

BACKGROUND

By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility to respond rapidly to emergency situations, International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Training Program Development:

I. Identify vocational training needs based on industry trends, job requirements, and individual learner goals.

II. Develop comprehensive training programs, including curriculum design, instructional materials, and assessments.

III. Incorporate relevant industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies into training content.

2. Training Delivery:

I. Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, employing various instructional methods and techniques.

II. Adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.

III. Provide clear explanations, demonstrations, and practical exercises to enhance trainee understanding and skill development.

IV. Utilize training aids, multimedia tools, and technology platforms to enhance the learning experience.

3. Trainee Assessment and Feedback:

I. Regularly evaluate trainees' progress through assessments, practical exercises, and examinations.

II. Provide constructive feedback to individuals, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

III. Develop and implement strategies to address individual learning gaps and challenges.

IV. Monitor trainee performance and offer additional support or resources as needed.

4. Individualized Support and Guidance:

I. Provide personalized guidance and career counseling to trainees, helping them explore job opportunities and develop career pathways.

II. Offer mentorship, coaching, and advice on professional conduct, workplace etiquette, and industry-specific skills.

III. Assist trainees in developing job search strategies, writing resumes, and preparing for interviews.

IV. Foster a positive and inclusive training environment, encouraging trainees to collaborate, share experiences, and support one another.

V. Refer and follow up a beneficiary for external vocational training.

Skills required for this position:

I. Experience in vocational training related to sewing, cooking, embroidery, and other vocational skills building

II. Proven experience as a vocational trainer or in a related instructional role.

III. Deep knowledge and expertise in the specific vocational area being trained.

IV. Strong instructional and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.

V. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

VI. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

VII. Adaptability and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of learners.

VIII. Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to individuals.

IX. Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.

X. Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
