French Translator

Location: Jordan (Amman or Irbid) Offices

We are seeking a skilled and experienced French Translator to join our team. As a French Translator, he/she will be responsible for accurately translating various types of documents and materials from English or Arabic to French and vice versa. The translations should maintain the intended meaning, tone, and context of the original content. Attention to detail and a strong command of both languages are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

· Translate written documents, including but not limited to, emails, reports, contracts, and marketing materials from English and Arabic to French and vice versa.

· Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of translated content.

· Research and use relevant terminology to maintain consistency across translations.

· Collaborate with other translators, proofread, and team members to meet project deadlines.

· Revise and edit translations as necessary, addressing any errors or discrepancies.

· Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

· Proven work experience as a French Translator or in a similar role.

· Native or near-native fluency in French and English, with a strong command of both written and spoken language.

· Excellent knowledge of French and English grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.

· Proficient in using translation tools and software.

· Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with industry-specific terminology is a plus.

Qualification:

· Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.

· Relevant certifications or training in translation or language studies.

· Previous experience translating a wide range of content, including technical, legal, marketing, and general business documents.

· A portfolio or samples of previous translation work.

· Familiarity with translation memory tools and software.
