We are looking for a Training and Development Senior Officer to join the Airport International Group – Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) team. Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s degree in human resources or any other related field

•Minimum three years of experience in an extensive human resources development or talent

management role

•Excellent command of both English and Arabic languages (written and spoken)

•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Function:

•Conduct a training needs analysis and identify outcomes

•Prepare the annual training plan based on the outcomes of the training needs analysis

•Organize staff training sessions, workshops and activities as per the approved training plan (internal/external/local)

•Manage the processing of training registrations and travel arrangements, if applicable, for outside training while complying with policies, procedures and approved budgets

•Update training records on relevant systems/reports

•Ensure all training attendees complete the training evaluation form, analyze training evaluation results and propose enhancements to the process based on feedback and analysis

Development Function:

1. Performance Management:

•Support the Training and Development Section Head in managing the performance appraisal process – including system setup, progress reporting, follow up and performance analysis

•Initiate a performance development plan for underperforming employees and follow up on progress with the concerned department head

•Initiate talent and/or career development plans for overperforming employees and follow up on progress with the concerned department head

2. Employee Career and Organizational Development:

•Participate and assist the Training and Development Section Head with HR research and studies related to job evaluation, job analysis, employees status review, career path establishment, career development plans and any other HR-related studies and analyses as requested by the HR Director

•Maintain an updated job description database and ensure job descriptions are created for new positions

•Assist the Training and Development Section Head with updating, drafting and proposing HR-related policies

•Assist the Training and Development Section Head with other HR projects and initiatives, as per management directives and requests
