About the job

Job Summary:

Provide assistance related to the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer software application programs. Act as the main contact person who would receive and handle support tickets and resolve support-related issues, and analyze data to identify patterns, identify issues in software applications and proposing resolutions and installing and configuring applications.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting issues in the product (application and data), database server, web server (IIS), and networks.

Manage issues/requests workload over the ticketing system; and ensure that all tickets are handled.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) process and report to the concerned stakeholders to reduce incidents flow.

Resolve incidents/service requests within his expertise and responsibilities or escalate it to the concerned internal stakeholders or external 3rd parties.

Follow with internal stakeholders or external 3rd parties till resolving any incident/request and update the concerned customer frequently.

Report any performance issue that appears in the monitoring system to the concerned internal stakeholders or external 3rd parties.

Understand stakeholders' requirements and how they translate in application.

Collaborate with IT vendors to set specifications for new applications.

Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards, documents requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or a relevant field.

(2 to 3) years of Experience as Application Support Engineer role.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Problem-solving attitude

Innovative thinker

Strong communication skills

Excellent attention to details

Ability to Work Under Pressure

Practical Experience in coding using C# Programming Language with .NET Framework and .NET Core.

Experienced with infrastructure and networking in terms of hosting and deployment.

Experienced with API Testing Process and Tools (Postman, Soap UI, Fiddler)

Acknowledged about SDLC

Acknowledged project management methodologies (Agile & Scrum) and tools (like Jira) is a plus.
