We are looking for a highly talented, driven, and resourceful montage/video editor officer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualifications;

Responsibilities

• Develop video concepts, scripts, storyboards, and shot lists in collaboration with the content creators team.
• Plan and coordinate video shoots, including managing equipment, locations, and talent.
• Personally manage video shoots, ensuring adherence to creative vision and brand guidelines.
• Edit and post-produce videos, including adding graphics, sound effects, music, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver compelling video content that meets the objectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing, and apply them to enhance the quality and creativity of our videos.
• Conduct video quality control checks to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards and guidelines.
• Maintain a well-organized video library for easy access and retrieval of footage.
• Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed for specialized video production requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in working with different cameras, mobiles, and video editing tools is a must.
• Proven experience as a Video Producer/Monteur or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video production skills and creative projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe creative suite.
• Solid understanding of the video production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
• Knowledge of cinematography techniques, lighting, sound recording, and video equipment.
• Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively through video.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition, aesthetics, and video quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in creating videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and online advertising.
