Job Summary:
A. Software – Hardware Management
1- Installing and configuring software, hardware.
2- Install and test related equipment.
3- Arrange repair & maintenance for hardware in occasion of hardware failure in collaboration with the IT department
4- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues our users encounter
5- Monitor data-center health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
6- Monitor network communication
B. Software Implementation
1- Password and identity management
2- Set up accounts and workstations
3- Monitor users performance and maintain systems according to requirements
4- Creation & implementation of software roll-out plans and schedules.
5- Creation & implementation of software training plans & schedules.
6- Training all related staff and focal points as per their user permissions.
7- Manage implementation tasks such as data migration, product training, and organizational roll-out strategies
C. Systems Administration
1- Manage the configuration and operation of cloud-based information systems.
2- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
3- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and issues resolution.
4- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
5- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems.
6- Daily systems monitoring and responding immediately to security or usability concerns.
7- Review application logs, error logs, reporting any error to development team.
8- Create and verify backups of data, Managing Backups Schedule.
9- Extraction and management of reports
10- Responsibility for maintaining the integrity and performance of databases (Database Administration)
D. UX/UI, Training & Support
1- Develop User Experience (UE) road maps for Front-end & Back-end user interfaces for employees use.
2- Meet users to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing or usability testing.
3- Be involved in sketching, prototyping and on occasion user testing, before passing the design onto the development team.
4- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including web developers and programmers
5- Assess individual and group training needs; maintain individual and group training records
6- Provide support and guidance by demonstrating knowledge of software, services, and best practices.
7- Provide users training including on-site support during enrollment, as well as post enrollment support
8- Develop software policies, processes and guideline to ensure compliance
9- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and policies.
10- Respond to and resolve help desk requests, management of system help desk.
E. Database Administration
1.Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
2. Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
3. Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
4. Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
5. Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
6. Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
7. Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
8. Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
9. Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
Minimum Requirements:
- Typically, IT degree Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
- Typically, 4+ years of relevant and progressive experience in healthcare database administration.
- Proper knowledge of electronic health records solutions.
- Proper knowledge of pharmaceutical information systems.
- Good English Language.
