تعلن مؤسسة نهر الاردن عن حاجتها الى :

Program Development Senior Officer

Identifies, assesses, and responds to potential project development opportunities. Engages in networking, research and analysis to collect information that contributes to JRF’s ability to make strategic and informed decisions regarding new opportunities, and position the organization given evolving trends in the development arena.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Able to identify opportunities (e.g. RFPs) and assess them based on the organizational needs, capacity, and vision
  • Significantly contributes to the entire proposal development process, in coordination and alignment with various departments and team members.
  • Designs interventions and programs in collaboration with technical teams and is responsible for authoring all components of the proposals, such as: objectives/outcomes/activities, context analysis, implementation approach and plan, executive summaries, organization capacity statements, and past experience. Preferably with experience drafting proposals and concept notes for international donors.
  • Contributes to budget development and narrative, in collaboration with the budgeting and technical teams.
  • Conducts research and contributes to drafting research reports such as market assessments, especially in the fields of community empowerment, livelihood, child protection, and women and youth empowerment.
  • Prepares and conducts presentations, such as those highlighting the organization’s capacity and experience, and discussing the proposed project details
  • Creates institutional systems that provide improved methods of forecasting upcoming business opportunities and develop Business Opportunity Plans at the country and regional levels.
  • Ensure that templates and tools for proposal development are developed.
  • Actively coordinate and participate in planning/status meetings to ensure proper adherence to good proposal management practices.

Self-Management:

  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role.
  • Sets performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the Senior Human Resources Manager and ensures those goals are achieved during the year.
  • Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the line manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended.
  • Ensures detailed and accurate documentation and reporting relating to the requirements of the function.
  • Manages, prioritizes and organizes self, relating to additional tasks requested by Function Management to support the Foundation achieve its business plan.
  • Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management from time to time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
  • Master’s Degree is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English; including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • 5– 7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of the international development donor landscape and proven track record of developing winning funding proposals .
  • Extensive knowledge of proposal and donor funding requirements and the ability to apply that knowledge in preparing project proposals .
  • Strong project management techniques and tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to apply those skills in project development, the negotiation process, and speeches/presentations while representing
