Ryanair Heavy Maintenance Technical Standards & Compliance Engineer
Ryanair is looking for a highly skilled and experienced airline professional to work in a highly varied and dynamic environment within engineering. Based in Amman, Jordan on-site at our partner MRO, the successful candidate should expect occasional overseas travel to accomplish their duties. This role will involve building close relationships with the MRO whilst overseeing Technical Standards for Heavy Maintenance inputs on the growing fleet of 737NG, 737MAX and A320 aircraft within the Ryanair Group of Airlines (Ryanair DAC, Buzz, Malta Air, Ryanair UK, Lauda Europe.) The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a highly motivated and evolving team of likeminded professionals.
As part of the Heavy Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring that Ryanair maintains its industry leading safety standards across a broad range of contracted heavy maintenance providers. Day to day, the successful candidate will be involved in the following:
- Carrying out independent reviews of technical standards of work accomplishment at contracted MRO organisations.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements both within the supplier processes and procedures and within the Ryanair interface agreement and other documentation.
- Identifying industry ‘best practice’ across the range of suppliers and driving change to bring all Ryanair contracted heavy maintenance organisations up to the highest standards.
- Reviewing customer audit findings and working with suppliers to ensure robust corrective and preventative action plans are implemented and enforced.
- Reviewing safety reports, maintenance errors and near miss reports.
Identifying trends in reports and taking appropriate action as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- will have worked as a senior mechanic or certifying staff in an airline engineering and/or aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation.
- will have heavy/base maintenance experience with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft types.
- will have detailed working knowledge of EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
- will have completed a degree in an engineering subject or hold an EASA or UK Part 66 AML or equivalent.
- must have the right to live and work in Amman, Jordan.
