Junior PHP Developer
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will develop and maintain high-quality web applications and services using PHP and related technologies. You will collaborate with other developers, designers, and product owners to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and related technologies
- Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code
- Collaborate with other developers and product owners to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Write technical documentation
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- Mentor junior developers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in PHP web development
- Strong knowledge of PHP and related frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD and automation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
