Electrical Unit Head

Job Summary:

The jobholder is responsible for the supervision and follow-up of routine, preventive and emergency electrical maintenance for machines and equipment used in the activities and operations of the various production lines, in a manner that ensures the efficiency of these machines and equipment and contributes to their preservation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in setting plans for preventive and corrective electrical maintenance necessary for the equipment and machines used in various plant production lines and operations, in a manner that ensures business continuity and avoids any malfunctions that affect the workflow.
• Manage and follow up on the corrective and preventive electrical maintenance work for the different machinery and ensure that the team is committed to the specified schedule, relevant policies and procedures, and the approved occupational health and safety standards.
• Follow up on the evaluation and analysis of electrical faults in the various production lines, and audit the reports issued by the electrical technicians, in addition to providing the necessary recommendations about these faults and methods of dealing with them effectively and efficiently.
• Organizing the processes of requesting and receiving the spare parts and tools that are necessary to implement the various maintenance activities, in a manner that guarantees the maintenance operations occurring in a timely manner and in accordance with the plans and the established schedules with the required efficiency and quality.
• Ensure that representatives of external companies carry out electrical maintenance work in accordance with the approved standards and procedures, monitor their performance and the results of their work, and make recommendations accordingly.
• Coordination and organization of technicians' rest and holiday times to ensure that the maintenance operations are carried out according to the plans and schedules established and with the required efficiency.
• Review all maintenance records and maintenance reports prepared by the electrical technicians and study the relevant recommendations before submitting them to the head of department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 9 years of Experience, among which at least 3 years in a Supervisory position
• Experience in Factories
