Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision.
Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management of resources, compliance with regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.
Drive business development and sales efforts to expand the company's market share, identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other market participants to ensure access to a diverse range of capacities and pricing.
Collaborate with the company's claims, finance, and risk management teams to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to the company's risk management framework and corporate governance standards.
Develop and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide regular reporting and updates to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders on the performance and strategic direction of the company.

Qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
10 to 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 10 years in a leadership role, preferably as Head of Corporates.
This includes a demonstrable understanding of large corporate account management and strategies for effectively penetrating these key accounts.
Proven track record of successfully leading a direct brokerage business, with a strong focus on sales, and business development.
Comprehensive understanding of market trends, pricing, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and risk management.
