CEO Direct Brokerage
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management of resources, compliance with regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.
- Drive business development and sales efforts to expand the company's market share, identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other market participants to ensure access to a diverse range of capacities and pricing.
- Collaborate with the company's claims, finance, and risk management teams to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to the company's risk management framework and corporate governance standards.
- Develop and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders on the performance and strategic direction of the company.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 10 years in a leadership role, preferably as Head of Corporates.
- This includes a demonstrable understanding of large corporate account management and strategies for effectively penetrating these key accounts.
- Proven track record of successfully leading a direct brokerage business, with a strong focus on sales, and business development.
- Comprehensive understanding of market trends, pricing, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and risk management.
