  • A degree in business, management, economics / or related fields
  • Experience of 2 – 3 years in Freight Forwarding / Shipping Sales with proven track records/ 1-2 years
  • Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills (THE MOST IMPORTANT)
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels especially with external customers
