Sales Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Organize the daily activities of the relevant personnel in the sales force.
- Implement and monitor a system for ensuring sales personnel follow the agreed Journey Cycle.
- Ensure each salesman carries a sales presentation folder that contains all mandatory items i.e. Record Cards, Price Lists, General Market Promotion details, Presentation Cards or Promotions, Order forms etc.
- Conduct on-the-job sales training with each salesman.
- Training priorities are to be discussed with the Sales Manager.
- Ensure all salesmen maintain good sales discipline.
- Monitor Branch’s sales performance against agreed sales targets.
- Recommend action to rectify sales problems or to improve sales opportunities.
- Monitor account collection to ensure adherence to the company’s credit policy.
- Collect and report all market information that could directly affect sales revenue.
- A minimum of 75% of the working week should be spent in the market.
- Specifically, control the effectiveness of the general market promotions.
- Set specific objectives and sales targets for salesmen on a monthly basis.
